When I started this blog I was a mid 50s aged lawyer who lives in Florida. Now I’m in my 60s (I’ll have to update this too frequently if I specify early, mid, or heaven forbid, late). Husband, two grown daughters, all of whom share a similar taste for adventure. After my husband and I were bitten by the mountain climbing bug in 2011 (daughters not so much), we have spent much of our time finding treks to trek or mountains to climb and training to do so. This blog is about the rush of reaching the summit as well as the process to get there: the good, the bad and the ugly, from the swamp to the summit.
